As part of our continuous efforts to enhance the relevance and impact of SOCRATES, we are considering a significant transition. We propose shifting the journal’s focus to become a subject-specific publication dedicated exclusively to Public Policy and Public Administration. This change would involve removing the Philosophy section to establish a more specialized scope.

A dedicated journal in Public Policy and Public Administration would:

• Enhance the journal’s impact and academic relevance.
• Attract a more targeted readership.
• Improve opportunities for indexing in relevant databases.
• Strengthen its role in academic and policy-making circles.

Before we proceed with this transformation, we highly value and seek your thoughts, insights, and feedback on this proposal. Your perspectives are essential in assessing both the advantages and potential challenges of this transition.
